Keep it real and kind
- Share what’s actually happening: the vibe, the music, the queue, the food.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate against anyone, including because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
- Replies, @mentions and reactions are for joining in, not for piling on: don’t use them to harass, spam or target anyone.
- No sexual or explicit content, and nothing that sexualises anyone.
- Nothing involving anyone under 18. PulseSpot is adults-only.
Respect people’s privacy
- Only post photos of other people when they are happy for you to do so. Crowds and stages are fine; close-ups of strangers are not.
- Never share someone’s phone number, address, car registration or other private information.
- Don’t post where someone else is, or follow anyone, without their agreement.
Be fair to venues
- Say what you experienced. Don’t make up claims about a venue or its staff, especially serious ones (such as safety, hygiene or crime) that you can’t back up.
- No fake posts, reviews or reports, whether to help a venue or to hurt one.
- No advertising or selling in the chat. Venues can buy Featured in My venues instead.
Stay safe and legal
- Nothing that promotes or arranges illegal activity, including selling drugs, weapons or fake tickets.
- Don’t encourage drunk driving or dangerous behaviour. Drink responsibly and get a ride home.
- Only report road problems that are really there, and only when you are stopped safely.
What happens if rules are broken
Anyone can report a post with its “•••” button. Posts reported by several people are hidden, photos included, until we review them, and posts reported as involving a minor are hidden immediately. We remove what breaks these rules and may send the person a warning, which they see the next time they open PulseSpot. Repeated or serious problems can lead to the account being suspended.
